Hungry Heart (The Works Of David G. Phillips - 26 Volumes)

Very good book, I read it in 24 hours and loved it!I happened upon this book at an antique store in Michigan 10 or so years ago. What a beautiful story about love and marriage- the reality of it all. Finding love, loosing love for another and then finding it all over agian. This book has so many layers of women's equality and men's vanity. But it ends with love prevailing over all the silly power trips. I found very refreshing views for a book published in 1904.

If We Say It Enough We'll Believe It

Roger-Cola ClassicRoger Hedgecock is a remarkabe independent thinker who has no equal in any radio or television market. It is hard to imagine what influences gave him his thoughtful, provocative, yet solidly determined mindset. Raised as a child of privledge as the son of a wealthy Lockheed executive, his childhood friends report that he had a very healthy work ethic and concern for his classmates that was unusual- most of his peers had been raised to be aristocratic brats. Sent to law school to eventually stumble into life as a politician and power-broker, Roger Hedgecock has a remarkably clear vision of what is best for the average citizen of any background or socio-economic persuasion. Many know him from the corner of San Diego's fabulous "Horton Plaza" or from his work as County Supervisor or Mayor. But his ultimate calling in life is to be the ultimate insider looking in from the outside, where real people exist and work. Earth has hosted relatively few equally talented and candid visionaries- Jefferson and King come to mind. Roger Hedgecock's calling in life is to avail his vast wisdom and practical solutions to the widest audience available. As a radio and television talk show host, his wisdom and practical experience has made a tangible difference in San Diego's economy and society. Rush Limbaugh should fly to Europe for a long vacation, assured that America needs the "Radio Mayor" to become the "Radio President." The Beltway would never be the same. A thoughtful, concerned genius is loose on the planet- read all about it in Roger Hedgecock's books! JBS

Illustrated Ski-Doo Snowmobile Buyer's GuideI'am just a kid as some people say , But I know a good book when I see one. This book:Illustrated Ski-Doo Snowmobile Buyer's Guide (Illustrated Buyers Guide) by Philip J. Mickelson, was a fascinating look at the beginning of J.A. Bombardier's perfected invention, all the way to the new super fast snowmachines that we see today. I wish this book was still in print so I could get a copy of it.
